Boarding

Windyridge Kennels, located only six miles south of Moscow, Idaho, on beautiful Paradise Ridge, is a small home-style kennel consisting of 26 indoor/outdoor suites, 7 indoor suites, and a small private room for cats. Our facility is heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. Each room measures 4x4 inside with a 4x10 concrete patio outside. We also have four 4x5 rooms with a 5x10 outside patio for large double dogs on a first-come, first-served basis. We like to house our small occupants in our small dog room, which is located next to my Westies. This room consists of seven 4x4 suites so everyone can see each other. These visitors usually go out in a group several times a day.

We provide everything your pet will need during his or her stay including mats, blankets, food, and exercise. You are welcome, however, to bring your pet's bed, toys, etc. if you wish. Beds must be clean, small enough to fit into a regular size washing machine, and free of parasites. We feed a premium dog food, but we would prefer you bring your pet's own food in order to eliminate or reduce the chance of stomach upset. Often the stress of a new place and the activity that goes on, along with the change of food, will cause mild to severe stool issues. We are more than happy to administer any medication that your pet may require. There is a minimal charge if medical treatment is more extensive than just giving them a pill.

Exercise is provided four times a day in a large fenced area either by themselves or with other well-behaved dogs. For an additional charge, we will give your pet a one-on-one play time with a staff member mid-day for 15 to 20 minutes.
